Young Cardiff striker Matt Green has joined Southern League Premier Division outfit Clevedon Town on loan until November.
Green joined the Bluebirds from Newport County in January but as yet been unable to force his way into the first team squad on a regular basis.
The move will give Green a chance of first team football and if all goes well could see him back in the first team picture at Ninian Park when he returns.
Manager Jonathan Walker told the clubs official website: “I’ve let Matt join Clevedon on loan as it will give him an opportunity to play first team football on a regular basis, it’s all well and good him playing in our reserves, but first team action is what he needs if he is going to progress”.
